Meet the Warriors behind our new campaign. This fall, we called on real-life leaders who aren’t afraid to go within to let their light out. From the symbolic pieces they wear to the powerful stories they tell, see why these spiritual trailblazers are redefining what it means to be a warrior.
Tell us who you are in a few words:
A full-time traveler. I’m a California native who has always been in love with travel and foreign places. Nothing makes me happier than exploring the world with my husband — my other half. I’m passionate about seeking out new experiences and encouraging others to do the same.
What does being a spiritual warrior mean to you?
Taking life for what it is — accepting that some pieces of it are inevitable, but that your outlook is changeable.
Tell us about a moment that changed the course of your life.
The first time I traveled to Europe when I was only 4 years old. When I went back I already knew that I was in love with the idea of moving there one day and traveling the world.
What gives you the courage to keep going?
I’m motivated by what I’m passionate about, and the idea that I can create the lifestyle that I want.
Which fall piece speaks to you most and why?
The path of life bangle and moon and star precious cuff. My name means ‘moon goddess’ in Greek mythology, so I’ve always been drawn to the moon.
When it comes to picking pieces to wear, what do you look for?
I tend to choose pieces that are a bit more simple in design, but still
statement pieces. I love gold.
Do you wear the same jewelry every day or switch it up?
I have some base pieces that I wear every day and will often build on those.
Tell us a little about each of your picks for your curated boutique. What inspired your choices?
What do you love about each one? I love that some are ancient symbols I recognized immediately, while others strike a more playful but still meaningful note. There is also a through line which ties together the whole collection.
Tell us about a piece that helps you tell your story / share your truth.
The Solar Plexus Chakra bracelet. It’s so important to stay true to yourself and trust your gut when it feels right.
Are any of these pieces gift-worthy? Which ones and who would you give them to.
The initial bracelets are a classic – I love giving them to friends for a special occasion.
How do you mix and match pieces to make them your own?
It all depends on my mood. Sometimes less is more — other times, I want to make a statement.
What inspired you to collaborate with ALEX AND ANI?
My first Alex & Ani bracelet was a gift, and I wore it every day. It was an extremely meaningful piece to me.
What’s your favorite symbol and why? Why would you wear this product?
The Moon and Star Precious Cuff is my favorite. It’s beautiful and simple.
What three words would you use to describe our products?
Bold, meaningful, iconic.
