The Novel Ideas are a country folk quintet of friends from the great state of Massachusetts. Featuring the voices of three different songwriters, The Novel Ideas create a blend of pastoral, harmony driven, and plaintive Americana. They spent the past year playing shows in support of their debut album, “Home” and have been featured in Billboard Magazine, Interview Magazine, and a myriad of the other publications applauding their stellar melodies. They’ve shared the stage with acts such as Lord Huron, Caveman, and Little Green Cars.

Abbey Rhode plays the music of The Beatles. Since moving from Nashville to New England in late summer 2011, Boston folk songstress Annalise Emerick has demonstrated her aptness to awaken reminiscence in the minds of her listeners with just a few simple words. With her 2011 acclaimed debut EP, Starry-Eyed, Emerick brought songs that have continued to resonate with audiences like You Win, Round and Round, and This Love Wont Break Your Heart. The collection prompted an outpouring of attention from the national blog scene and a spotlight on CD Babys Music Discovery Podcast, which assured its listeners: Fans of Ingrid Michaelson will feel right at home.

Berklee graduate and vocalist, Joanna Teters croons in a rich alto. Known for her powerful presence as a front woman with groups Mad Satta, Lowtone Society, and Drew ofthe Drew, Teters switches seamlessly from a smooth-but-smoky lilt to a rugged reggae delivery. At 21 she has already shared the stage with artists ranging from Sam Smith, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Gretchen Parlato to Ozomatli and Afrika Bambaataa.
