Each plant has a unique purpose waiting for you to experience it. Here’s what your powerful plant mother can do for you.


If You Have Trouble with Anxiety…
The scientific name for motherwort, a member of the mint family, is Leonurus cardiaca, which translates to “lion-hearted.” This beautiful plant feels like a mother’s comforting hug, easing anxiety and replacing it with strength, courage, and a lion-heart. If you face anxiety, she can be your best friend and your guide. Take her in tincture form (a liquid extract taken orally) diluted in some water, and allow her to soothe and strengthen your soul.


If You Experience Seasonal Sadness, or All Around Blues…
Saint John’s wort, or Hypericum perforatum, is known for her abilities to ease symptoms of depression and seasonal depression. She is like a bottle of happiness, waiting to make your day brighter. Saint John’s wort is a yellow flowering plant that loves the sun, and tends to bring the sun right to you. When taken in tincture form, she supports you in getting through the dark times.

If stress surrounds you, let the soothing Passiflora, or passion flower calm your tension. She can ease you into a deep sleep and let the stress of the day melt away. Known as the “soldiers herb,” yarrow is a fiercely protective. She helps with cuts and scrapes and helps to stop bleeding. It’s scientific name comes from, Achillea millefolium, as Achilles’ soldiers used it to heal wounds. She is prickly, but she is amazing at helping with overcoming seasonal allergies and overall nourishment, making her a friend to you. Urtica dioica can help with hair, skin, and nails, giving plenty of vitamins and minerals. By ingesting her every day, seasonal allergies can be alleviated, leaving you feeling energetic, nourished, and radiant.
