With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, love is on everyone’s minds. Love is the basis of humanity — it is what unites us and gives us strength. It can also leave us feeling vulnerable, making us question if we are worthy. How can you carry light this new year and invite love into your life in a big way?

Be Strong in Yourself

You’ve heard it before, the idea that you will not be able to find love if you don’t love yourself. But let’s break that down further — it’s not about having no insecurities or flaws, that would mean you weren’t human! It’s about knowing yourself for all that you are and rocking it. In other words, being conscious of your actions, thoughts, wants, and needs, and not judging yourself for them. Think of channeling and meditating on transformation symbols, such as the Meditating Eye Collection. Go confidently in this year knowing that you are uniquely perfect in yourself in this moment, constantly evolving and growing stronger.

Attract the Kind of Love You Want

Mahatma Ghandi said to be the change you wish to see in the world. This can also apply to love. When you embody the love you are seeking, you show the world you’re open and ready to receive love. When you are the love you want, you are not attracting out of lack, but out of power. This is the strongest love there is.

Know That Every Experience Serves You

Part of inviting love into your life is encountering any emotion that can go with it — positive, negative, and everything in between. When you experience any emotion, it’s always with purpose. To undergo the full spectrum of emotion in life is one of the most profound human experiences you can have. It unites you with others, makes you have empathy, and is always serving you. Everything happens for you, not to you — so always ask, how is this benefiting me? Allow your mind to openly seek the wisdom in everything.

Love is everywhere, constantly surrounding you and waiting for you to let it in. Think of the ways love is currently present in your life and give thanks. Begin 2018 with an open mind and heart. When we see the abundance of love that is around us, more of it will always come pouring in.
