Get moving. Wake up, grab your yoga mat, and tap into your inner peace at a group yoga or Pilates class. A light workout will recharge your mind and body, and keep you going all weekend. Check fireflyfestival.com for updates on group workouts and activities offered this year.


Stay hydrated. Hanging out in high temps for too long without proper hydration can lead to heat exhaustion or even heat stroke (warning signs include fatigue, irritability, dizziness, and nausea). Drink plenty of water before you feel thirsty (by then, you’re already dehydrated). Take advantage of festival water stations and carry a canteen so you can refill it between shows.

Snack often. #FestivalLife can lead to some sporadic eating habits, leaving you sluggish and starving. To keep your blood sugar at a healthy level, carry a snack (or a few) at all times. Granola bars, fruit, and trail mix are all portable and will hold you over between shows.


Eat clean. Refuel your body with high-quality food. This year, Firefly is offering visitors a variety of healthy food items, including vegan and vegetarian options. A nutritious, crisp green salad for lunch can boost your energy during the day. Or have one for dinner – it’ll promote a good night’s sleep.

Rest and relax. With non-stop festival fun, it’s easy to tap out before the day is over. However, taking a timeout is a must! Firefly offers a “Hammock Hangout” to festival-goers, where you can catch a quick rest before heading back to the concert stages.
