Game, Set, and Match … who doesn’t love the sense of satisfaction that comes with that phrase? Alex and Ani’s Charity by Design team is so excited about our partnership with the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum and the chance to get involved in their amazing programs designed to preserve the history of tennis and inspire its future.

The International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum is a unique organization and their programs touch all levels from game-aspiring juniors, recreational players, pro tennis at its highest level, and of course, Hall of Famers — the legends who have built the sport that is such a popular global pastime.

The Hall of Fame is located in a National Historic Landmark, which is an extraordinary property that was built in 1880 as a social club for the community. In 1881, the facility hosted the first U.S. National Lawn Tennis Championships and the tournament has grown to become today’s U.S. Open.

The Hall of Fame now operates a fascinating museum dedicated to preserving the history of tennis and children ages 16 and under are invited free of charge to learn about the sport’s rich history and be inspired by its great champions. More than 4,000 explore the hallowed halls each year.

The grass tennis courts are now open to the public, too, and adult recreational players come back week after week sharing their passion for the sport and its benefits of a healthy, social lifestyle. Children participate in tennis clinics led by pro tennis players who educate them about the sport’s honor codes and inspire them to strive to be the best.

Each summer, an elite group of some of the sport’s greatest champions and contributors return to the Hall of Fame to participate in a grand ceremony to honor the sports best of the best in the Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony.

The Game, Set, Match Bangle was available for the first time in Rhode Island back in July at the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships. It will be available in stores and on tomorrow, August 21st with 20% of all sales going back to support the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum.
