Have you ever looked in the mirror and said: “I need to get some sleep?” You’re not alone! Under-eye puffiness and dark circles are quite common and can be caused by numerous factors.

Often times it is related to excess sodium in the body, sleep deprivation or the position of your head while sleeping. For an easy cure to your under eye blues, look no further than the refrigerator! Cut a cucumber into slices and store them in the freezer. Whenever you’re feeling less than fresh, apply one to each eye for no longer than 20 minutes. The coldness will help restore a restful appearance and youthful glow.

Two other options for a renewed look are to cut down on sodium consumption and to sleep with two pillow instead of one — this will keep your head elevated and prevent blood from collecting under your eyes while you sleep. Good luck!
