We had the pleasure to sponsor and attend the 2nd annual American Red Cross Rhode Island Heroes Breakfast this morning at the Omni Providence Hotel. The event honored several individuals who have made a difference in the state of Rhode Island through heroic acts.

Julie Tremmel from NBC 10 welcomed guests and served as host. Paula Montgomery, Executive Director of the American Red Cross, Rhode Island Chapter, explained the mission of the American Red Cross and the significance of the event. The breakfast honored nine people and one animal who showed courage and bravery in trying times.

As a Hero Award sponsor, our Senior Vice President of Operations, Brigadier General David Medeiros, presented two awards in memory of soldiers for their heroism in the military.

We are honored to have been a part of such a memorable event and commend the recipients of the Hero Award!
