One of the most difficult situations to be in is one where we are uncomfortable. Times when you have to admit fault, forgive someone, or tell someone a truth you would rather avoid, those are the times we would much rather avoid. Accepting that discomfort and pushing through will give you more relief than you know. Once you have accepted responsibility, or decided to forgive someone and let your negativity go, you have room to embrace being happy and calm. Don’t get stuck trying to avoid sticky situations. The best thing to do is grit your teeth and get through it (then go home and take a shower).
